Many of you will have seen over recent days, reports that Kimberley Leisure Centre is rumoured to close. Since first being elected there have been discussions about the Leisure Centre potentially closing.
We have had the Stapleford Cycle Hub for over a year. My aim for the Hub was to increase access to and get more local people cycling and it has done - just that!
It was time to get into the holiday spirit at the weekend at the Stapleford Christmas Light switch on! Thank you to organisers of the event. Everyone seemed to have a lovely time, thank you to all those who came to say hello!
Many of the announcements made will directly benefit my constituents in Broxtowe, including raising the minimum wage, supporting those that are self-employed and a new investment zone for the East Midlands!
I spoke in Prime Minister's Questions, I asked the Prime Minister to support my campaign to bring an Apprenticeship Hub to Broxtowe. It is vital that we have the local facilities to ensure people of all ages can train and retrain for good local jobs.
