Next Step for HS2

On Wednesday (15th of April) the HS2 Minister Andrew Stephenson gave ‘notice to proceed’, in other words the green light, that marks the formal approval for the main construction works to begin on Phase One of HS2.

A52 Clifton Bridge Update

I have further been in contact with Highways England about the A52 Clifton Bridge.

Highways England is working closely with Government to keep strategic roads operating safely throughout the coronavirus outbreak, as the bridge repair programme moves forward.

I would like to introduce you all to the first COVID-19 Broxtowe Hero: Jamie O'Grady who is a community-minded publican of the Foresters Arms, Newthorpe. Jamie is a public-spirited chap and he has been involved in many community focused events in the past.
