HS2 Review

Yesterday, the Government announced an independent and rigorous review into the High Speed 2 project so that we can obtain clear advice on the future of the project.

Intouch Stapleford North

Busy morning as part of the team supporting Councillor Jan Goold, who is doing some excellent legwork campaigning and delivering her Intouch leaflets in Stapleford North, Broxtowe Constituency.

Tea Party

This afternoon Darren enjoyed a Tea Party with volunteers from a Good Neighbour Scheme

Volunteers can have a positive impact in maintaining the unique quality of life in our communities.

Improving Roads

As we all know, many of our local roads and pavements need improving.

Working with local residents in Till and Wylye Valley we are helping to make our journeys safer by filling in potholes and resurfacing dangerous cracks. But there is more to do!

Speeding Traffic

Police are aware of local residents' concerns about speeding traffic.

Darren Henry commented "In the short time I was with PC Aaron Pedliham today he issued two speeding tickets".

Both police and politicians commit to act in the interest of the communities they serve. They share many of the same goals and are grappling with many of the same issues so it is vital they work closely together.

Airman's Cross Remembrance

The Airman's Cross near Stonehenge was erected in memory of two pioneer airmen, Captain Eustace Loraine and Staff Sergeant Richard Wilson, who were killed in a flying accident near Stonehenge in 1912.
