Darren Henry reflects on his time as Broxtowe MP

Broxtowe had their say. I am incredibly proud of the work I have done to improve our community in the last four years. Securing £21.1 million in Stapleford, £16.5 million for Kimberley, lifts for Beeston Train Station, a banking hub for Stapleford, a ramp at the Awsworth-end of Bennerley Viaduct, Pharmacy First in Nuthall, funding for Chilwell School and so much more. I even managed to have a huge impact on changing the law around parental leave following a constituency surgery. My aim was always to improve our community, not for me but for our children and grandchildren. I feel like I have achieved that and it has been the honour of my life to serve Broxtowe.
