Getting things done for Till and Wylye Valley

Dear resident,

I would like you to have an idea of my background in getting things done as I am applying for the job of being your local Councillor.   Following a long military career, my last appointment was at MOD Boscombe Down and I am delighted my family made Shrewton our home.

I have been the General Manager of a food distribution company and held project management roles including one at Great Western Hospital.

I was in the founder group and became Chairman of Shrewton Youth Club which has been running successfully since January 2016.  I have been in the traffic management group, been military liaison and I am Vice Chairman of Shrewton Parish Council.  I am Wiltshire Area Chairman of the Conservative Party’s voluntary group.  In essence, I love to be involved in our community and get things done.

Like many of you, I believe our children and grandchildren should enjoy their rural economy growing up and wish to return to the area by choice to raise their families.  I pledge to be a hard working champion for Till and Wylye Valley and hope you will vote for me on 4 May 2017.

Yours faithfully,

Darren
